Season Standings & Rules

With four events, and the season pass we'd thought it be fun to do a season long competition. So we're going to start tracking results across the entire Gravel Roll and assign points for a season tally. But, with a usual Gravel Roll twist. Every distance is going to be eligible for the single overall series podium!

You must ride at least three events to be eligible. If you finish first in your distance you will get 1 point, second-2 points, so on and so forth. These will accumulate through the season, with your best three placements counting toward your final score.

So if you get three 1st place finishes and one second place you would have 3 points total dropping your lowest result.

If you got 10th, then 6th, then 20th, then 13th, you'd have 29 points dropping your worst result. Final places are determined by whoever has the lowest points total. So to win the whole thing, you wanna go as low as you can.

Since all distances are eligible for the overall podium there could potentially be a tie.

The tie-breaker will start at distance placements in the final event - The Holler. If still tied we first go to who competed in all four races, and count back in the additional races. The grand total of all four will break the tie. If still tied it will then go back to who bought a season pass, then finally who didn't walk the sand at Bird Dog (we joke, we joke, but maybe).
