Pecan Shaker 2024 was a bit different than it was in past years. After always having the event in the fall, due to scheduling conflicts and the addittion of two new locations we had to move Pecan Shaker to the spring.

We still had a great time shaking our way around the orchards, and enjoying the amazing spring weather!

All of us here at Cycling Quests and the Gravel want to give a huge shoutout to the town of Hawkinsville for being such great hosts each year, as well as all of our generous partners for supplying raffle prizes for all our events!

Pecan Shaker 2024 wasn't without tragedy, as we did have quite the rain before raceday, making for soggy conditions on certain areas of the course. But of course you all perservered and made it through! (with the exception of one gentleman who was promptly attended to by medical staff.)

Remember folks, we are here to have some fun and ride bikes, but your safety while on course is always our #1 priority!

Whether you're on the podium, or coming in DFL, the gravel roll is really about the vibes. Having a good time with friends of all skills, ages, backgrounds, and bikes. We all love cracking a cold one after the ride and sharing stories from the trail.
